01 / Note

A long film is not a short record with more minutes. It has its own weather: an argument can disappear, a room can fall quiet and a gesture can become important only after we have almost forgotten it. Our editorial structure must leave enough space for those changes to happen.

Duration is part of the record /

We keep the complete running time visible. Chapters help a reader return to a moment, but they do not replace the movement between moments. A pause, a repeated answer or the time needed to approach a difficult subject belongs to the work as much as a quotable sentence does.

Transcript beside image /

A transcript makes speech searchable, yet it loses posture, distance, overlap and the pressure of a location. We therefore place text beside the image and attach timecodes to passages that carry an argument. The written layer remains a route back to the film, not a substitute for watching it.

A public route /

Complete films published through YouTube can enter this system with bilingual titles, chapters, people, a filmography and links to the questions they reopen elsewhere in the archive. The platform supplies access; the editorial work builds the relations around each film.
